Their time.
Their energy.
Their money.

Obviously.

Their agenda.
Their emotions.
Their expectations.

Pretty Obvious.

Their ideals.
Their preferences.
Their convenience.

Not so obvious.

Their comfort.
Their reputation.
Their life.

This I wasn’t aware of.

But as a developing leader the lesson I am learning is this:

I must consistently “give up” so that others can continually “go up.”
