There’s more to this life
than consuming and getting
the things that we want and desire.

Though achievement is great
and pleasing to many
there exists a satisfaction that’s higher.

This joy can be found
when we start to see others
and the needs for which they are yearning.

And instead of pursuing
only that which we want
we see the importance of serving.
